Surround Yourself with Success

Have you ever gathered a basket of fresh apples and stuck a rotten one in there with them? Do you know what the outcome is? I’ll give you a hint…no one survives.

When you decide to enroll in school, especially higher education where you are paying money to receive a degree in a particular field that you will later begin your career in, it is important to stop and take a look at your surroundings. Are you surrounded by family and friends who support your decision to go back to school or are you still running in the same circles you were before you decided to make your life better?

Sometimes you have to take a step back and realize that the people who aren’t supporting your decision to better your life might not be people you want in your life. The famous quote, “Misery Loves Company” is very true. If you are surrounding yourself with people who don’t want to become more, who don’t want to become a professional and who don’t want to have a great life, they might be bringing you down.

You are entering a new world when you decide to further your education at the collegiate level. There will be several students just like you who are likely to become your friends, so use these new friendships to build professional relationships. Network and meet others in your field and focus your time and energy on improving yourself and becoming the best possible candidate for positions when you graduate.

Take a close look at your life and realize the kind of people you want to surround yourself with. Having the support you need from close family and friends is a key to success when you continue your education!

  1. Surronding yourself with success is a key to being successful and how i take this expression is the people that are around you. If you hang out with people that are successful or want to be successful then your more likely to achieve success rather than hanging out with people that don't want anything out of life you have to try to weed those people out because misery loves company and they will try to drag you down as well.

  2. Being sussceful is all in the person. They would have to make a commitment to school. Get their education to be something in life. Hanging with the right people also will help you lead to success.Hang with people who want something in life not the losers. So it's important to go to school and get a degree. I want everything there's to offer in life. I will work as hard as it takes to become someone i always wanted to be

Surrounding yourself around people that are of success is a great thing to do.It gives you great thinking and a positive attitude.Makes you think if they can do it I can do it.I Never hang around people that want nothing in life and do not want to further their education. It would just drag you down.So I highly recommend that if you want to succedd in life. Be with people that want to better thier selves.

  4. I believe that it matters how much determination a person has. If that person is determined to succeed then his/her environment shouldn't affect them from being successful. However, There are people who can get distracted with negative influences, and if you happen to be a person who can't concentrate with temptation/negative influences then you should remove yourself from people/environment.It's very important to get an education because it can lead to a better career and future. So my choice is to remove myself from negative people and focus on my goals. I want to accomplish something out of my life and have my daughter looking up to a successful mother, not a failure.
